On the 5th December I joined Deputy Staffordshire Commissioner, Sue Arnold, on a visit to New Era Support Services.
New Era Support Services is a holistic domestic abuse service operating across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. Established in 2018, it offers help to all those affected by domestic abuse, providing free and confidential support for victims, perpetrators and families, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Its aim is to end relationship abuse through a wide range of individual and group support for adults, children and young people for as long as they need it.
During our visit we learned more about the support the service offers to those most vulnerable in our community, as well as the challenges it faces in ensuring help reaches everyone who needs it.
I would like to thank everyone involved in New Era for the amazing work they continue to do within Staffordshire.
