The 22nd signal regiment exercised their freedom of Stafford with a royal salute and march-past. With Stafford’s Beacon Barracks being upgraded, there is a large military presence in Stafford. The salute was taken by myself, the lord lieutenant , the brigadier and the mayor of Stafford.  

A visit to 11 Signal Brigade with some serious shooting equipment. They did have a band as well.

A pleasure to open the new multi use games area at Lichfield Cathedral Choristers School. A fine service with some wonderful music.

A beautiful setting for the annual borderland voices barbecue. The group encourages poetry writing painting and writing for people who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. Great burgers

Election night at Stone was exciting although I was not able to be returning officer there.

We enjoyed an evening with paratroopers. Musicians. And a demonstration of power by Judy at the Donnington barracks.

We were well entertained to lunch the team of the firefighting headquarters. And hope to go for a full day of firefighting training.

Six thousand Staffordshire guides gathered at Stafford show ground to celebrate 100years of guiding. A terrific experience.
