Catherine Care is an amazing organisation that offers a wide range of services for adults with learning difficulties, helping them to live their lives to the fullest. With fully trained, experienced staff and specialist sites in Cannock and Great Wyrley, Catherine Care provides the care, activities and opportunities it knows make a difference to people with learning difficulties at every stage of their adult lives.
I was invited to watch Catherine Care’s ‘Dream a little dream’ Christmas show by Kath Perry, Chairman of the County Council. Kath introduced me to Sharron and Jim Keown, Directors of Catherine Care, who provided me with an overview of the fantastic work they and their team do every day. The show featured plays, songs and comedy – I was even encouraged on stage to sing ‘The 12 days of Christmas’! It was a fabulous show and I had a lot of fun!
I would like to say thank you to Kath for introducing me to Catherine Care, to the organisation for doing such an amazing job, and to everyone who was involved in such a wonderful show. I’m looking forward to supporting Catherine Care in the future in anyway I can.
