What a special morning! I was honoured to attend the very moving launch of the Royal British Legion 2018 Staffordshire Poppy Appeal hosted by JCB. I enjoyed speaking to several former armed forces JCB employees and also wonderful Chelsea Pensioners from the Royal Hospital Chelsea (pictured here with Lord Bamford). The JCB poppy art installation is spectacular and the unique poppy liveried mini excavator was auctioned to raise a very significant sum for the Appeal.
