The Staffordshire Rotary Club is celebrating its 95th birthday this year and I was honoured to be a guest speaker at its Rotary meeting on the 12th February, which took place at Tillington Hall Hotel.
Following a brief speech, I held a question and answer session with the members of the Rotary Club. It was a lively and interesting get together, during which I was able to explain more about the role and responsibilities of the High Sheriff within the county. We also enjoyed a tasty lunch.
I would like to thank the club’s president, Guarang Dave, for the kind invitation and the very warm hospitality I received from all members who attended.
