Queen’s Awards for Voluntary Service presentations 2021

I was proud to be asked by the Lord Lieutenant, Ian Dudson, to attend the presentation of five Queen’s Awards for Voluntary Service, some awarded last year but not presented because of Covid restrictions, and some awarded this year.

Congratualtions to all of these on your well-deserved awards!

Walk Ministries were presented with their award at Ruyard Lake on the 6th September. They are a Christian organisation who offer help, support and encouragement to help men transition successfully to life outside prison. (https://walkministries.org.uk)


SARAC (Sexual Abuse Rape Advice Centre) is a charity based in Burton upon Trent offering free, independent and one-to-one emotional support, information and advice. (https://sarac.org.uk/)
