On the 15th January, I was fortunate enough to be able to spend the day with South Staffordshire Coroner, Andrew Haigh. The day began with an inquest in Burton Coroners Court at the Burton Town Hall. This was followed by lunch at Andrew’s office, during which we discussed his role, the challenges he faces, and plans for the future.
I then had the opportunity to sit in the Coroners Court at the County Building in Stafford for a pre-inquest meeting.
I would like to thank Andrew for his kind invitation and for giving his time and knowledge.
