On the weekend of his funeral I was honoured to attend services across the county in memory of HRH Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh. Congregations in Stafford, Stoke and Lichfield came together to pay tribute to a remarkable man with an enormous sense of duty, and a loyal consort to Her Majesty the Queen for over 70 years. He will be sadly missed by the whole country.
