Sadly this is my last day as High Sheriff. Tomorrow Ashley Brough will make his declaration at Stafford Crown Court and become High Sheriff of Staffordshire 2019-2020. Thanks to all who have supported me this year, invited me to their events, welcomed me as a visitor, let me experience their world, fed me and generally enabled me to see and learn about all the amazing things that are happening in this wonderful County. I’ve loved meeting you all and have had a fantastic year. As I hang up my ostrich feathers, I wish Ashley all the best for the year ahead.
