THE HIGH SHERIFF ATTENDS A SERVICE OF REMEMBRANCE TO MARK THE 40TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FALKLANDS WAR

The High Sheriff, Ben Robinson MBE DL lays a wreath at the Memorial in The Falklands Garden

On Saturday 18th June, The High Sheriff was honoured to attend an open air Remembrance Service to mark the 40th Anniversary of the Falklands War.

The Service took place in the Falklands Gardens and was organised by The Royal British Legion (Stafford).

The Service was conducted by The Revd John Davis MBE KstJ, Chaplain of the Stafford Branch Royal British Legion and included prayers and readings.

The High Sheriff was met and welcomed by Lt Col Chas Dale Retd, Chairman of The Royal British Legion Stafford. The High Sheriff was honoured to lay a wreath on behalf of all those who served and lost their lives in Falklands conflict.
