On Tuesday 10th May The High Sheriff attended the personal honours’ presentation for the Staffordshire recipients of The British Empire Medals 2022. The Chairman of Staffordshire County Council, Paul Snape, requested The High Sheriffs’ attendance at the presentation afternoon in Stafford where five Staffordshire residents were awarded the prestigious personal Honours for their invaluable contributions to their local communities.
Lord-Lieutenant, Mr Ian Dudson CBE KStJ presented the Staffordshire winners on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen. The High Sheriff of Staffordshire would like to extend his congratulations to the winners and thank them for their invaluable contribution to the Staffordshire community.

- Mr Lee Bates BEM for services to the community in Tamworth during Covid-19
- Mr Paul Brindley BEM for services to the community in Tamworth, including Covid-19 Response Projects
- Mrs Janet Hewes BEM for services to the community in Gosnall and District, Staffordshire
- Mrs Hannah Finlay BEM for services to the Food Supply Chain
