We were delighted to attend a Reception for High Sheriffs in the wonderful historic setting of the Old Bailey as guests of the Sheriffs of the City of London. We were also shown the newly refurbished Court No 1 which is probably the most famous courtroom in the world having held the trials of Dr Crippen, the Kray Twins, Oscar Wilde and Jeremy Thorpe amongst others.
