I was invited by the Royal British Legion to attend the 1918 Cross Laying Ceremony on 4th August and to lay a cross in the Garden of Remembrance by St Mary’s, Stafford. It was lovely to see many current and retired servicemen and women alongside members of the public. Staffordshire Wing Air Cadets did a great job as always.
