Chaplain to the High Sheriff of Staffordshire

I have been Ordained for 40 years, although my original career was to be in Engineering and I first worked for British Leyland, at the Rover Car factory in Solihull.  For all of my time as a Priest I have been in Parish Ministry, serving in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, before coming to Lichfield Diocese in 1994

My experience with Civic leadership mostly began whilst I was Rector of Stone, becoming Chaplain to both Mayors of Stone and Stafford over my time there.  I am, of course, hugely honoured to be Chaplain to the High Sherriff this year and I share the concerns that she has with the working of Justice and the Probation services.  I very much look forward to this year.
