Current Under Sheriff – Amy Glover
Amy Glover was born in Stafford in 1980 and currently lives on the outskirts of Gnosall with her husband Dale and their two children.
She qualified as a Solicitor in 2009, having obtained two postgraduate degrees in Law (specialising in Revenue Law) and Finance Law, in addition to her Law Degree. She is also a qualified member of the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners.
Amy has been a partner with the firm of Hand Morgan and Owen since 2016. She is Head of the company’s Private Client Department and specialises in Trusts and Tax, often for business or agricultural interests.
Hardworking and committed, Amy lends her expertise to the voluntary sector and is also involved in her local Pony Club, Albrighton Hunt, organising their Branch Programme and internal competitions. Out of hours, she helps to run the family’s farm and rural business and enjoys spending time with her daughter and their horses and watching her son play Cricket and Rugby.
Amy was chosen as Under Sheriff of Staffordshire in April 2019. She says:
“It is an honour to have been appointed as Under Sheriff of Staffordshire to help support the important work of the High Sheriff in what is sure to be a fantastic year.”
